Diabetes Run (2015)
Balance your glucose intake by not allowing foods you consume to move your blood sugar levels too high or too low. This is an endless runner where food items you pick up can be collectables or avoidables based on your “Glucose Meter” and the high or low danger zones it nears.
Alongside my co-producer, Yue, I organized Team Rapid, with daily responsibilities. I created a Trello page to show clear goals as well as a backlog of duties. Yue took care of the Google Doc for the team to submit all work. I took a key role in the research of diabetes via online sources as well as experts on the topic. I spoke with a friend who was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. He was extremely helpful in explaining his daily lifestyle and what would help with newly diagnosed diabetics who found it difficult to manage their new lifestyles. I also interviewed a Bio-Medical Informatics Assistant Professor. He gave extremely helpful advice including the need to show the difference between Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes.
