Outer Worlds 2: How to Get Westport Folks to Join Aunty’s Choice

If you’re looking to get some help to sneak into the Vox group, you’ll first need to do a big favor for the boss of Fairfield. This isn’t a simple task. One of the main things you’ll have to do is talk the people living in Westport into moving to Fairfield and joining Aunty’s Choice. Westport is currently run by the Protectorate, so folks there aren’t too keen on leaving.

You could just mess up their town so badly that they have no other choice but to leave. But there’s a much nicer way to do it: you can convince some important people in Westport that they’d be much better off in Fairfield. We’re going to show you who you need to talk to and how to get them to agree.

Before you get started, make sure your team is all set. You should have already helped Inez with her special mission to decide if she gets a Crabble or Raptidon part.

How to get Westport citizens to move – Outer Worlds 2

There are three main people you need to talk into moving.

First up is Interim Chief Mechanist Pinckney. You’ll find him right outside the main gate, trying to fix a broken robot. He’s not happy with his job, but just talking won’t be enough to win him over at first. Instead, you’ll need to sneak into the speaker room and mess with the speakers so they start playing messages from Aunty’s Choice.

After that, go back to Pinckney. He’ll be curious about the idea of picking his own job under the Aunty’s Choice group. You’ll need to be good at talking to convince him, but once you pass that test, you can get him to agree that leaving would be a good idea.

Next, you’ll find Charlton Weintraut. He’s the man standing to the left of the main town square as you walk in, with some purple gunk around his mouth. If you’re really good at talking or noticing things, you might figure out his secret right away. If not, head down to the old, empty part of town just south of Westport. Find his house there, and you’ll discover he’s hooked on Aunty’s Choice products. Now you can give him some of these products and tell him there’s plenty more where that came from in Fairfield. That’ll be enough to get him to come along.

Finally, there’s Curativist Rowe, the doctor who works on the first floor of the big house. Her main problem is that she doesn’t have enough medicine and supplies. The abandoned part of town has a lot of the things she needs hidden in a few of the houses. Gather them up and bring them to her. Once you do, you can smoothly bring up how Aunty’s Choice will let her get all the supplies she could ever want, as long as the price is right. This will be enough to get her on board.

Once you’ve convinced these three people, you can go back to Vigilant Hogarth. You can then use the unhappiness of his citizens to convince him that it’s time for everyone to move to Fairfield. After that, you can go back and tell your boss about your success.
