Honkai Star Rail 3.7: Release Date, New Events, and Features Guide

The popular game Honkai Star Rail is getting a big update with version 3.7. This update is titled “As Tomorrow Became Yesterday.” It marks the end of the exciting story arc that takes place in the world of Amphoreus. Players will see a final, dramatic battle between the Trailblazer’s crew and the powerful enemy known as the Lord Ravager Irontomb. The big question for players is whether they can protect both The Erudition and the world of Amphoreus from total destruction.

As is usual with stories from Honkai, this ending will likely have a mix of happy and sad moments. However, it will be a story worth playing through. It is described as a romantic tale. Besides the end of the Amphoreus story, players will also get a chance to pull for the character Cyrene. There is also a brand new permanent game mode called Currency Wars. This new mode sounds like it will involve the IPC group.

Honkai Star Rail version 3.7 will be released on November 5, 2025. You can play it on PC, PS5, iOS, and Android devices.

HSR 3.7 – Story and Characters

The main story mission, called “As Tomorrow Became Yesterday,” will bring the Amphoreus story to its conclusion. The Trailblazer and their friends will head into a final clash with Irontomb. Their goal is to stop this Lord Ravager from destroying The Erudition. This is a major showdown with huge stakes for the universe. It also leaves players wondering: what will happen to Amphoreus if the heroes win?

The banners for this update will feature Cyrene. She is a 5-Star Remembrance character. She acts as a strong support unit for other Remembrance characters and for the Chrysos Heirs of Amphoreus.

During the story mission, players will also learn more about Cyrene’s mysterious past.

HSR 3.7 – Events

The following events will be available during HSR 3.7:

Currency Wars: Zero-Sum Game – This is an event based on the new permanent game mode. You can earn rewards like Stellar Jade.
Cherished Recollection – This event lets you collect Oneiric Shards for rewards. These rewards include a head accessory for the Trailblazer and a skin for Cyrene’s weapon.
Snack Dash – This is a multiplayer mode where you help train cat cakes at Herta Space Station. Rewards include a hat accessory for the Trailblazer.
Gift of Odyssey – This is a login event. If you log in, you will get ten limited pulls.
Relic Recon – You can get fully upgraded Relics for specific characters just by playing the content in this version.
Planar Fissure – You will get double the normal drops from Planar Fissure activities.
Garden of Plenty – You will get double the normal drops from Calyx activities.

HSR 3.7 – Features and Additions

HSR 3.7 will add a new area to Amphoreus called The Ruins of Time. The Trailblazer will need to break through seals set by Phainon. This is necessary to join up with Phainon for the final battle.

In that final battle, players will face Irontomb. This is a climactic showdown against a brand-new boss character.

The new permanent game mode, Currency Wars, mixes the turn-based battles of HSR with auto-chess elements. This is similar to the Fate stay/night event mode. Players can place their characters in on-field or off-field areas. Where you place them gives them unique abilities. Team combinations work differently here because of auto-chess Bond effects. The mode starts with 61 characters available. All of them are free trial versions and have automatic upgrades.

Currency Wars will get content updates from time to time. It will also refresh its rewards regularly, similar to the Simulated Universe. Players can get Deep Immersifiers and Fuel Vouchers from Currency Wars. These items let you skip battles in Planar Ornament Challenges or Calyxes. This helps cut down on the time spent grinding.

Domains and Calyxes can also be farmed faster. This lets players do more challenges in a single run.

HSR 3.7 introduces an accessory system for characters. It will be used for the Trailblazer and Cyrene first. Players can get three different hats for the Trailblazer and a weapon skin for Cyrene during this update.

Finally, players will get a free Golden Companion Spirit for logging in between Version 3.7 and 4.0. Topaz and her signature Light Cone, Worrisome, Blissful, will be added to the Stellar Convergence shop. You can exchange the Golden Companion Spirit there.
