Warzone Season 2 is bringing in big changes to the perks system. These changes will completely change how teams work together and move around in the Call of Duty battle royale game.

p>The game makers, Raven Software, have redone all three Slot 1 (Blue) Perks. They replaced Veteran, Grenadier, and Cold-Blooded with new options that have clearer purposes. Instead of just giving small bonuses, the new perks are made to give clear advantages, encourage teamwork, and definitely change how people play. p>Along with these changes, Scavenger has also been adjusted as part of a bigger effort to make the game’s economy more balanced. p>Here are all the perk changes coming in Season 2.

Field Medic (Used to be Veteran)

Field Medic is now a support perk that helps with reviving teammates. It rewards players who focus on keeping their squad members alive.

New effects:

• Revive teammates 25% faster
• Bleed-out time increased by 25%
• When you revive a teammate:

• They automatically get one Armor Plate
• You both get 5% faster movement for 3 seconds
  • When someone revives you:
    • You automatically get one Armor Plate
    • You get 5% faster movement for 3 seconds
      • Better protection from Flash, Concussion, Gas, and Shock equipment

      Drill Instructor (Used to be Grenadier)

    Drill Instructor focuses on moving fast and working as a team. It rewards players who stay active and move together.

    New effects:

    • After running for more than 1 second, your health starts to regenerate
    • You and teammates within 25 meters get:
      • 3% faster movement
      • 15% faster climbing
        • This bonus lasts for 10 seconds after leaving the area
        • Drill Instructor bonuses don’t stack with other Drill Instructors

        This perk really helps teams that push together, making rotations faster, follow-up attacks better, and keeping pressure on during fights.

        Surveyor (Used to be Cold-Blooded)

        Surveyor is an information-focused perk that helps with map awareness and tracking enemy activity.

        New effects:

        • Enemies within 120 meters show up on the map briefly when they:
          • Use a Buy Station
          • Pick up a Contract
            • Your UAVs:
              • Have a 20% larger area
              • Make your minimap zoom out by 20%
                • Downed enemies show through walls within 40 meters

                Surveyor gives some of the best information tools Warzone has ever had in one perk, especially for teams that communicate well and use information quickly.

                Scavenger Adjustment

                Scavenger also got a small change in the Season 2 update.

                Adjusted:

                • Cash removed from the Scavenger Bag

                “Scavenger has become a must-have because of the cash,” the game makers said. “To help the overall economy and where money comes from, this change was needed. This change moves Scavenger back to what it was meant to be, but this part could come back later.”

                Season 2 of Warzone and Black Ops 7 starts on February 5, and there are also big changes coming to Rebirth Island.
