Square Enix Launches Major January Sale on Humble Bundle Featuring Final Fantasy and More

There is a massive collection of Final Fantasy titles and many other games from Square-Enix available at reduced prices in the Humble Bundle January sale.

Almost every game in the history of the Final Fantasy series is available for purchase, ranging from the original classics to the latest modern remakes. As any fan of the series knows, that represents a huge amount of content to explore.

Whatever specific title you are looking for, it is likely included in this sale. Instead of listing every single game on offer, let’s look at some of the best highlights from the Square-Enix January sale.

Square-Enix January Sale Highlights

Let’s begin with the very first game and the most recent release in the mainline Final Fantasy series. The 2D remaster of the original Final Fantasy is currently priced at just £5.84. Alternatively, you can get the bundle containing Final Fantasy I through VI for £35.74. Meanwhile, Final Fantasy XVI, the newest entry in the series, is available with a 50% discount on both its Standard and Complete editions.

For fans of MMORPGs who have not yet tried the acclaimed Final Fantasy XIV, the Complete Edition is available for just £17.49. This price includes the base game and every single expansion released so far. It is a massive amount of gameplay for under £20.

There are also price reductions on the Final Fantasy VII remakes and the recent remaster of Final Fantasy Tactics if you prefer something with a more modern feel.

Naturally, the sale focuses heavily on the publisher’s biggest franchise, but there is also an interesting selection of other games under the Square-Enix banner for those looking for variety.

At the top of the list are the Nier games. Nier: Replicant is discounted by 60%, and Nier: Automata – Game of the Yorha Edition is also reduced by the same amount, bringing the price down to just £11.99 for one of the most celebrated games of the 21st century. The Life is Strange series has discounts ranging from 50% to 80%. Additionally, with a movie version recently confirmed, you can pick up Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition for the very low price of £2.39.

If you enjoy retro curiosities, John Romero’s Daikatana is available for only 69p. You can also find Dungeon Siege and Deathtrap Dungeon at similar low prices.

If you are still interested in RPGs but want something other than Final Fantasy, why not try the Dragon Quest series? The Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake is 40% off, and Dragon Quest Builders 2, a personal favorite for many, is currently £19.99. There are other RPG alternatives available as well, including Chrono Cross, Chrono Trigger, Bravely Default II, Legend of Mana, Octopath Traveler, and the Star Ocean and Kingdom Hearts series, all reduced to varying degrees.

This sale offers a potentially huge number of hours of gameplay to add to your collection, and it barely scratches the surface of what is available.
