Remedy Entertainment has recently lowered the prices for two of its well-known games. Both Control and the original Alan Wake are now available at very low costs on the Steam platform.

While many gamers are still waiting for the release of Alan Wake 2 on Steam, the developer’s other major titles are already there. In fact, you can currently purchase three different games for just over five pounds.

The original, unmodified version of Alan Wake is now incredibly cheap at £1.19. This price comes from a massive 90% discount. The smaller, more unusual game, Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, also receives the same 90% discount. This means you can buy it for only 79 pence.

For less than two pounds, you get a lot of gaming from one of fiction’s most beloved writers. Even though this isn’t the remastered version with updated graphics, it remains a wonderfully wild and exciting journey.

Remedy’s newer series is also part of this sale. We mentioned earlier that the 2025 title FBC: Firebreak received a big price cut, but the game that started this series is also on sale.

Control: Ultimate Edition has also been marked down by 90%. This allows you to play this multi-award-winning action-adventure game for a generous price of £3.29.

With a sequel to Control on the horizon, this is an excellent time to get into the original game and enjoy its delightfully strange nature.
