No Man’s Sky Begins 10th Anniversary with Buildable Trucks, Cargo Hauling, and Gravity Guns

Here we go once more! Just one month into 2026, the team at Hello Games has brought out a fresh big update for No Man’s Sky. This kicks off the game’s tenth year with some real flair. If you like trucking around, carrying loads, and throwing things with gravity guns, that is. And I sure do.

All these new things come out today, February 11th, in the latest Remnant update for No Man’s Sky. By my count, and some rough adding, this makes it the 39th major update for the space adventure game. It comes right after December’s Breach update. Remnant focuses on carrying stuff, or really on starting up some industry work. You turn junk into rare and wanted materials.

This might not seem as thrilling at first as last year’s ships you could fully build and fly with friends in crews. But look closer, and it gets a lot better. Remnant adds trucks, flatbeds that tip, and carriers that players make and change to fit their needs. You fill them with junk and broken bits to take back to new waste plants for turning into useful stuff. Hello Games says you can make your own colorful burners, spider-like sci-fi explorers, or tough army vehicles with tank tracks.

The main part of all this carrying is the new Gravitino Coil. It’s a strong anti-gravity tool for your multi-tool that turns No Man’s Sky into a fun place to play with physics. With it on, players lift up, throw, and hold big items. The makers say it makes a great new way to hunt for wrecks, load up trucks with goods, and pull them over alien lands to factory yards for new prizes. Be careful with the junk that can blow up easy while moving it. And yes, you can use the Gravitino tool as a weapon too. Just grab something heavy, even Sentinels, and toss it.

One more thing, Remnant adds a new short-time Expedition. This event for the community asks players to clean up and reuse a planet full of wrecks and junk. Finish it for lots of vehicle parts and a new armor set with soft padding and fancy steam punk designs. Full details on the update are available on the official site.

What other plans Hello Games has for No Man’s Sky’s tenth year celebrations is still a secret. For now, they just say their usual hint at the end. More to come. Our trip goes on. And could 2026 bring news on the team’s other project, the planet adventure game Light No Fire? Time will tell.
