BLAST has made a big announcement. They are now working with Polymarket. Polymarket will be their “Official Prediction Partner.”
This deal means Polymarket will be part of seven BLAST events around the world. These events are for Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 games. It all starts with BLAST Slam VI in Malta.
BLAST says Polymarket will be easy to see. You’ll notice it on live TV broadcasts, at the events, and on websites.
Alexander Lewin works for BLAST. He said: “Esports is changing fast. It’s becoming more fun and based on data. We are happy to work with Polymarket. This gives fans new ways to have fun all over the world.”

Fans Can Join in on the Fun
Some people worry about betting in esports. Jordan “Jkap” Kaplan is a Call of Duty champion. He thinks sports betting is hurting young men.
But Polymarket says they are different. They focus on fun predictions, not just betting. They say this will make watching games more exciting for fans.
Matthew Modabber works for Polymarket. He said: “Esports has always had regular betting sites. But prediction markets are better. They let fans join in more. It’s more open and community-focused.”
Polymarket has become popular for esports games. Some people even use computer programs to make predictions. One program made over $200,000 in just three months by guessing results for League of Legends and Dota 2 games.
Modabber thinks working with BLAST will help prediction markets grow in esports. He added: “Working with BLAST brings this to fans everywhere. It helps make prediction markets a normal part of watching and talking about games. This is just the start of how fans can join in on esports.”
Polymarket is Growing in Sports and Esports
Polymarket has been making deals since coming back to the U.S. market last year. They were not allowed to have U.S. users from 2022 until now.
Besides working with BLAST, they have deals with other sports groups. These include MLS, NHL, and UFC.
But some groups are worried. The NBA, NFL, and NCAA have said prediction markets could cause problems. They think these markets might be risky for fair play.
Lewin said BLAST is “proud to join Polymarket’s partners. They work with NHL, UFC, and MLS. This shows how important BLAST events are around the world.”
He agreed with Modabber that this partnership will make esports more fun for fans. He added: “Together, we’re creating something that feels natural for esports. It’s fast, live, and connected to the action. This is about making fans enjoy competition more, whether they watch online or at the event.”
