Old Los Ratones Players Talk About Getting Back Together for Korea Trip

Two players who used to be on the Los Ratones team, Veljko “Velja” Čamdžić and Juš “Crownie” Marušič, have been talking about possibly getting back together for a trip to Korea. This is happening even though Marc “Caedrel” Lamont said the team was shutting down.

The two players were on Trevor “Quickshot” Henry’s Hopeum Episode 5 podcast on Wednesday night. They talked about their time in the LEC Versus tournament. Near the end of the show, about 90 minutes in, both players said that the Los Ratones group might get back together in the next few months.

Los Ratones Planning Korea Trip for MSI

“The guys talked about going to Korea for MSI, for solo queue, and hopefully a small reunion in a few months,” Crownie said. “You can still see us talking to each other on our streams because I feel like this is the only team where we are all close to each other at the end. There was not really any bad feelings between us.”

Velja felt the same way when Quickshot asked for his final thoughts.

“I’m just going to try to be consistent when it comes to streaming and focus more on being entertaining,” Velja said. “But, as Crownie said, I got an idea, like, guys, let’s go to Korea for MSI. So, regardless of whether they want to go or are willing to go with me, I think I will maybe spend a month or two there.”

Could Los Ratones Come Back with Same Name?

Crownie had talked about the Korea trip idea almost 10 days earlier, after Los Ratones was eliminated from the LEC Versus playoffs. This was before Caedrel said on his YouTube channel that the Los Ratones project was ending.

But it seems possible that the Rats could come back using the same name. Caedrel said that Los Ratones is the players, and the players are Los Ratones. If the group can get back together, the name might come back in the summer.

It is also not clear what Tim “Nemesis” Lipovšek, Martin “Rekkles” Larsson, and Simon “Baus” Hofverberg plan to do next. Baus has gone back to full-time streaming, which could mean he’s available for a trip. Nemesis keeps streaming, and fans think he might return to professional play. Rekkles is set to start streaming again next week, where he might talk about the Korea idea.
