Eva La Dare Officially Joins Tomb Raider: Catalyst Voice Cast

Another voice actor has officially confirmed they will be part of the cast for the upcoming Tomb Raider game, Catalyst.

Eva La Dare revealed her participation in Tomb Raider: Catalyst after fans noticed her voice in the reveal trailer shown last month. Many viewers suspected they recognized her performance during the preview. La Dare responded to the fan theories on social media, praising their keen hearing. She wrote, “Your ears are GOOD!” confirming that the speculation was correct.

While La Dare did not share specific details about her character in Tomb Raider: Catalyst, she expressed great enthusiasm for the project. In a statement, she said, “Can’t say more yet, but I’m so excited to be part of this legendary franchise.” She mentioned her excitement about joining such a well-known series. Fans are eager to learn more about the role she will play in the game’s story.

Beyond her upcoming work in Tomb Raider: Catalyst, Eva La Dare has an impressive history in video game voice acting. She is well-known for portraying Sheva Alomar in Resident Evil 5. Additionally, she has voiced the character Elena in several titles within Capcom’s popular Street Fighter series. Her experience in major gaming franchises makes her a valuable addition to the new Tomb Raider project.

La Dare joins a talented cast that includes Alix Wilton Regan. Regan has recently taken over the iconic role of Lara Croft from Camilla Luddington. This change marks a new era for the Tomb Raider series, with fresh voices bringing the characters to life. The combination of La Dare and Regan suggests a strong vocal lineup for the game.

The transition from Camilla Luddington to Alix Wilton Regan was announced recently. Luddington had been the voice of Lara Croft for ten years, contributing to the “Survivor Trilogy.” She shared a heartfelt farewell message to the character she portrayed for a decade. Luddington wrote, “The Survivor Trilogy was a decade of adventure I will never ever forget. I could not be prouder of what we created.” Her departure marks the end of a significant chapter in the franchise’s history.

Tomb Raider: Catalyst is scheduled for release next year. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam. The game will take Lara Croft on a journey to Northern India. The story revolves around a “mythical cataclysm that has unleashed ancient secrets and awakened the mysterious forces that guard them.” This setting promises a new and exciting adventure for players.

Before Catalyst arrives, fans have another Tomb Raider game to look forward to this year. A remake of the very first Tomb Raider game is set to launch. Known as Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, this remake will place players back in the shoes of Lara Croft. The game follows her as she travels to various countries in search of the Scion of Atlantis, revisiting the origins of the series with updated graphics and gameplay.
