Ron Perlman Makes Surprise Return in Fallout Season 2 Episode 6

The sixth episode of Fallout season two has recently been released on Prime Video. This new episode gives viewers and fans a special cameo appearance to look out for.

Please be aware of spoilers for Fallout season two below.

Just a week after Ron Perlman shared that he was paid “$40 and a sandwich” for his first work on Fallout in the 90s, the actor has now appeared in the TV series. In the original game, he narrated the RPG and spoke the famous line “War. War never changes.”

Perlman plays the role of a Super Mutant in the show. He helps free Walton Goggins’ character, the Ghoul, from the pole he was stuck on at the end of the previous episode. That scene was very painful to watch.

In the world of the show, Perlman’s Super Mutant talks about “war” again. He tells the Ghoul that a war is coming, so “we need you healthy.” He then helps fix the large hole in the Ghoul’s stomach.

“They call us abominations, but they created our kind,” Perlman’s character says while healing the Ghoul. “They” refers to the bad Enclave group in Fallout, which seems to be connected to Vault-Tec. “Ghouls, mutants, we’re kin,” Perlman’s Super Mutant adds, “and we should unite against our common enemy.”

Perlman’s Super Mutant is building an army against the “people who set all this in motion.” However, it is not yet clear what this means for the rest of Fallout season two. As soon as we see Perlman’s damaged face, he knocks the Ghoul on the head to keep his location secret. This is very curious!

There are still two more episodes left in Fallout season two, and the action in the wasteland is getting more intense. Along with returning actors like Ella Purnell and Walton Goggins, Macaulay Culkin and Kumail Nanjiani have also joined the cast for season two.

Meanwhile, filming for the third season of Fallout is expected to start this May. However, do not expect to see a similar cameo from Bethesda’s Todd Howard. “They’ve offered me a whole bunch, even in season one,” Howard said last month. He explained that he was “going to be in the sort of Dr. Strangelove Vault-Tec room, where they’re talking [about] all the experiments, and some other things.”

However, the studio head thinks he is best placed “behind the camera” rather than in front of it. He prefers not to be the version of Marvel’s Stan Lee with many cameos.
