Marcel is known as the ‘Soul Photographer’ and has special powers that use his camera to mess with enemies by freezing them in place.

Marcel’s Role and How He Plays

Marcel is the 132nd hero to join the game. He’s a tough fighter who likes to stay close to enemies and help his team. He’s also good at protecting his teammates. In the game’s story, he’s connected to a family called the Paxleys, and might be friends with heroes like Melissa. He uses a camera named Lux to find hidden truths.

Marcel isn’t like other tanks who just use their powers to stop enemies for a long time. Instead, he changes the speed of the fight. He can heal himself a lot and has good defenses, so he can take hits. But his main job is to control where enemies can see and to stop them in their tracks. He doesn’t just protect his teammates; he completely stops the other team from moving forward, making them fight when and where he wants them to.

Marcel’s Powers Explained

Marcel has a new way of playing in Mobile Legends: he can freeze things, like enemy attacks and characters, in time. His powers all work with his camera, letting him use special moments to his advantage in fights.

Passive – Platinum Snap: Marcel’s helper, Clemar, takes pictures of enemies nearby. This makes them unable to move for a short time and deals damage that ignores armor. When he successfully takes a picture of an enemy, Marcel and one teammate get a shield. Attacking enemies with his normal attacks helps lower the time it takes for this power to be ready again.
Skill 1 – Framed Moment: Marcel takes a picture with his camera that deals a lot of damage after a short wait. The damage gets stronger based on how much attack and defense Marcel has. Enemies caught in the picture get stuck for a little bit, which punishes them if they just walk in a straight line.
Ultimate: This is his most powerful move. Marcel creates an area where everything and everyone, except himself, stops moving and takes no damage for a short time. This stops all attacks and movement instantly. The damage and movement that would have happened are saved up and then released all at once when the effect ends.

How Marcel Might Change the Game

Having a power that can truly freeze time will be a big deal in professional games. With big international tournaments coming up, teams will have to quickly figure out how to use Marcel or how to beat him.

When picking heroes, Marcel looks like he will be very good at stopping heroes that shoot a lot of attacks from far away and heroes that try to jump into your team. By freezing attacks, he can make heroes like Novaria or Xavier, who shoot spells from a distance, useless when your team is trying to attack an enemy tower. Also, his special damage makes him a threat to the tough jungle heroes that are popular right now. Marcel’s Release Date and How to Get Him

Marcel is currently available for players to try out on the Advanced Server. It’s expected that he will be added to the main game servers in early to mid-March 2026. This timing works out well with the start of the next ranked season.
