On your player sheet, you can see all the combinations you can try. Most of them are simple. You just need to roll multiple dice of the same fruit. For example, three bananas or four cherries. Then there is a full house, which is a pair and three of a kind. There is also a combination for five different fruits.

Whenever you make a combo, you score the next available number in the row. You do this by drawing a heart around the number on your sheet. If an opponent rolls a cross, you get to cross off a number on your sheet. You do not score that number right away. But crossing a number makes the next one available. This helps you score more points on your turn later in the game.

At certain positions on the sheet, you earn stars. Stars are like money in the game. You use them to buy power cards on the right side of your sheet. The power cards work like a sushi belt. They always move downwards. The bottom card is always free. So, you can always take one card on your turn even if you have no stars. These powers are very important. They help you make good combinations. They can also help you score points in other ways.

Some powers are ongoing abilities. For example, you might be able to treat one fruit as another type. Some powers are single use. For example, you might score 3 points for every orange you roll. Sometimes you get extra rerolls. Sometimes you get to roll an additional die. All these things help you make better combinations. Sometimes, using a combination of powers can be very strong.

The game is quick and easy to learn. There is certainly some luck involved because you are rolling dice. However, there are interesting decisions you need to make along the way. You want to make good use of the power cards. Stars are worth points when the game ends. Sometimes it is not easy to decide whether to spend them to help you cross the finish line faster, or to keep them for points. Which combo to go for is not always easy to decide. The game is a race to 50. It is exciting to watch what your opponents roll.
