In a big step to grow around the world, MOONTON Games shared their 2026 esports plan for MLBB. It has a system with five regions to make the world competition more together.

This new way is a big help for MLBB to grow young players and top world games. It gives clear paths for all areas to reach the top contests.

Starting in 2026, MLBB esports will use one main setup with five regions. They are Southeast Asia called SEA, Eastern Europe and Central Asia called EECA, Europe, Middle East and Africa called EMEA, East Asia called EA, and the Americas called AMER.

This plan helps each place feel proud and stay connected. Every area gets special help and chances to grow for new and old markets.

A main part of the plan is the new Championship Tour. This is a contest between regions that starts first in AMER, EA, and SEA areas.

The contest will make local fights more exciting and show new stars on a bigger stage.

Tiger Xu, who leads MLBB Esports around the world at MOONTON Games, said, “With this plan, we look far ahead for MLBB Esports. Every group can grow and have its own way while staying part of a big world. This change is about joining together and getting bigger.”

Top teams from this new setup will go to big world events. Like the M8 World Championship in Turkiye, the Esports Nations Cup 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and Esports World Cup events. These include the Mid Season Cup called MSC and MLBB Women’s Invitational called MWI, both in Riyadh. These events get notice from people who bet on esports.

In a big step, MLBB will join as a medal event at the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya 2026. This makes the game one of the top contests in the area.

MPL Malaysia Changes to a Partner System

At home in Malaysia, MOONTON shared a big change for the Mobile Legends Professional League called MPL Malaysia. From 2026, it will use a Partnership Programme.

This will pick eight main partners from top Malaysian teams and world groups. They get sure spots in the country’s top league.

These teams get steady work safety and more ways to make money.

MPL Malaysia stays one of MLBB’s main pro leagues. It joins MPL Indonesia and MPL Philippines as top leagues.
